Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School Hires Former Satellite Football Coach Ted Kimmey as New Athletic Director

Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School has hired Ted Kimmey to serve as the new athletic director. Kimmey will take over the position after the Minutemen’s former Athletic Director Kevin Robinson took on a larger role with Brevard Public Schools.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School has hired Ted Kimmey to serve as the new athletic director.

Kimmey will take over the position after the Minutemen’s former Athletic Director Kevin Robinson took on a larger role with Brevard Public Schools.

The former Scorpion head coach resigned as the Scorp’s head coach back in January of 2022 and joined Coach Nate Hooks’ staff at MCC in March.

Kimmey coached the Scorps for five seasons, posting a 36-16 record and culminating with reaching the regional finals in his last season as head coach.
