BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Beach Police Department and Fire Department responded to the area of the beach, just north of Minutemen Causeway in response to multiple juvenile swimmers in distress.
Upon arrival and with assistance of Brevard County Lifeguards, three juvenile victims were immediately located and removed.
One of the juveniles was unresponsive and immediate lifesaving measures were conducted.
All of the victims involved were transported to a local area hospital for medical treatment.
The victims involved in this group were visiting the area from out of the state.
