BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Cocoa Tigers 4-Star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs announced his de-commitment from Ohio State University on social media Tuesday.

Boggs, a soon-to-be senior, improved his stock amongst recruiting experts after the remarkable state championship season last year by jumping 69 spots to No. 73.
On the 15th episode of “Space Coast Daily Sports Talk” with Juan Rodriguez and Zach Clark featured members of the 2023 State Championship Cocoa Tigers football team at the Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room Erdman Automotive TV Studios in Cocoa.
The Cocoa Tigers finished the 2023 season 14-1 overall and claimed their sixth state championship in program history, their second title under head coach Ryan Schneider after defeating the Bradford Tornadoes 20-6 in Tallahassee.
“We put in the hard work through the summer and the spring, fought through adversity, and made it happen,” said Ohio State commit wide receiver Jayvan Boggs when asked how it felt winning back-to-back state titles.
Class of 2025 4-star wideout Jayvan Boggs finished the season with 86 receptions, 1,504 yards and 24 touchdowns.
