Cocoa Tigers Advance to FHSAA State Championship for 3rd Straight Season After Defeating Booker 41-3

State Championship game will be played on Dec. 8 in Tallahassee at Bragg Memorial Stadium

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The defending Champion Cocoa Tigers advanced to the FHSAA 2S State Championship game for the third straight season after defeating Booker 41-3 in the semifinals on Friday at Dick Blake Stadium.

The FHSAA 2S State Championship game will be played on December 8 in Tallahassee at Bragg Memorial Stadium on the campus of Florida A&M University. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m.

The Tigers look to win back-to-back State titles as they prepare to face off against No.2 Bradford High School in the title game.

This State Championship game will be a rematch of last season’s Semifinal game between Cocoa and Bradford. The Tigers defeated the Tornadoes 31-21 before claiming their State Championship last season against Florida State University High School.

Bradford heads into Tallahassee unbeaten after defeating Pensacola Catholic in the State semifinals 22-21.
