Join the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa to learn all about the basics of canning. They are offering three different canning classes to teach you how to preserve your food safely, while also creating the best quality product.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Join the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa to learn all about the basics of canning. They are offering three different canning classes to teach you how to preserve your food safely, while also creating the best quality product.

These are hands-on classes that occur throughout the year.

You will be able to take your food home, so please bring a box with you as the jars will still be hot. All other materials are provided in class.

The cost of each class is $35 per person, and space is limited to 8 people.

Canning: Jams and Jellies Registration
March 4, from 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Canning: The Pickling Process Registration
March 4, from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Water Bath and Pressure Canning Registration
March 16, from 10 AM – 12:30 PM
