BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team will open the Citrus Conference on Saturday afternoon at Titan Field House.

The No. 19 ranked Titans will host Florida Southwestern in the conference opener at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Eastern Florida State College is 12-2 overall this season and is averaging 86.5 points per game which is fifth in Region 8. The Titans are coming off a win against the Florida State College at Jacksonville on Wednesday.

Sophomore Owen Aquino is coming off a career-high 29-point performance and is averaging 14.1 points and 8.7 rebounds in 13 games. Teammate Matija Zuzic is averaging 12.9 points while Luca Colceag is averaging 12.2 points per game this season.

Florida Southwestern comes into the contest 9-4 and has won seven of the past 10 games. The Bucs are led by the duo of Dezdrick Lindsay and Jaehshon Thomas who are each averaging 13 points per game.

The Bucs have won the past four meetings in the series and lead the series 4-2 but this will be the first meeting between the two teams in a conference game.
