titans are 15-3 overall this season
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team will go to Daytona State College for a game between two of the top teams in the Citrus Conference on Saturday.
The 21st-ranked Titans have won three in a row and are 3-1 in the conference and 15-3 overall and will face No. 2 Daytona State College who is a perfect 17-0 this season including 3-0 in the conference.
The Falcons come into the contest averaging 100 points per game which is second in Region 8 while the Titans are first in Region 8 in points allowed, averaging 59.7 points.
Eastern Florida State College is coming off a win against Indian River State College who came into the game averaging 102 points per game but scored a season-low 67 against the Titans.
Daytona State College has five players averaging at least 12 points per game led by Josue Grullon who is averaging 20.5 points per game which is third in Region 8. Teammates Breylin Garcia and Kylin Green are averaging 13 points per game while Victor Panov and Isaiah Dorceus are averaging 12.
Eastern Florida State College is led by sophomore Owen Aquino who is averaging 14.4 points and 8.4 rebounds while Matija Zuzic is averaging 12.3 points and Luca Colceag is averaging 11.9 points per game this season.
Saturday’s game will tip off at 4 p.m. after the women’s game and tickets to the game at Daytona State can be purchased here.
