Bukumirovic averaging 9.9 pts., 6.7 reb. in 19 games
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball player Andrija Bukumirovic was named the Region 8 Player of the Week on Tuesday.
The freshman from Sjonica, Serbia came up big in a couple of Titans wins last week, averaging 18.5 points and seven rebounds.
Bukumirovic had 13 points and six rebounds in a win against Indian River and then had one of his best games of the season against No. 2 Daytona State College last Saturday, scoring a team-high 24 points and grabbing eight rebounds.
Bukumirovic is averaging 9.9 points and 6.7 rebounds in 19 games this season.
It is the first time this season that Bukumirovic was honored as Player of the Week and the first men’s basketball player to win the award this week.
