BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s golf team finished 11th in the National Preview at the Rockwind Community Links in Hobb, New Mexico.

Sophomore Nick Miller finished with a 71 after shooting rounds of 76 and 73 on Monday. Teammate Jamie Chepenik shot a 72 in the final round after finishing Monday with a 76 and 73.

Adam Vermut finished at 224 after a 71 on Tuesday while Masen McKain finished with a 230.

Bryan Hernandez shot a 73 in the first round but was injured during the second round. He came back on Tuesday morning, shooting a 71.

“Not bad for as dinged up as we are,” Eastern Florida State College men’s golf coach Jamie Howell said. “Awesome comeback by Bryan as I did not expect him to play today. Good balance by the team, we return with a wealth of information in regards to preparing for May.”

The men’s golf team will play in the Jefferson State Fall Invitational on November 6-7 to round out the Fall season.
