BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team hits the road for a Citrus Conference game on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 18 ranked Titans will travel to Daytona State College for a second meeting with the Falcons this season.

Eastern Florida State College is 8-0 in the conference and defeated Daytona State College 90-66 in the first meeting behind a strong game from freshman Lynn Rieth who had eight 3-pointers and scored a season-high 24 points.

Daytona State College is 3-4 in the conference and is coming off a loss to Miami Dade College but had won three straight before last Saturday. Sophomore guard Bella Weary is averaging 15 points per game and had 21 against Miami Dade. Teammate Kendal Moxey is averaging 11.6 points while Tasia Johnson averaged 10.9 points per game.

Eastern Florida State College’s Amelia Hassett is averaging 19.1 points and 13.6 rebounds per game this season and has recorded 13 double-doubles. The 13.6 rebounds per game is first in Region 8 and third in the nation. Teammate Jaidyn Koerdt is averaging 10.6 points per game and is coming off a 21-point performance in the Titans win over Indian River State College.
