Brevard Sheriff’s Office will be on hand with potential employment opportunities

Eastern Florida State College’s Public Safety Institute will host a Corrections Academy Open House on Monday, July 17 from 5 -7 p.m. in the Student Union (Bldg. 16) Conference Center on the Melbourne Campus. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College’s Public Safety Institute will host a Corrections Academy Open House on Monday, July 17 from 5 -7 p.m. in the Student Union (Bldg. 16) Conference Center on the Melbourne Campus.

The event was created to directly address the ever-growing demand for corrections officers here in Brevard County, as well as throughout the State of Florida.

“This is an amazing opportunity to serve your community,” said Steve Salvo, Dean of EFSC’s Public Safety Institute.

Representatives from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will be on hand with potential on-site employment opportunities.
