Eastern Florida State Soccer Players Kodai Tsuzuki, Daniele Verdirosi Named to United Soccer All-America Team

Verdirosi scored 11 goals in 16 games

BREVARD COUNTY • , FLORIDA – A pair of Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer players were named to the 2023 United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division I Men’s All-America Team.

Goalkeeper Kodai Tsuzuki and forward Daniele Verdirosi were both named to the All-America team.

Tsuzuki, a sophomore from Takahama, Japan, has started 15 games this season with eight shutouts and a 0.77 goals against average. Tsuzuki allowed just 10 goals and was 12-2.

For his career, Tsuzuki went 15-2 in 21 games played with a 0.58 goals against average with 11 shutouts.

Verdirosi, a sophomore from Rome, Italy, scored 11 goals in 16 games for the Titans and added eight assists in his only season with the Titans. He had three game-winning goals and scored his lone penalty kick. Verdiros was also named to the NJCAA Division I All-America second team.

Tsuzuki, Verdirosi, George Wyatt and Mukisa Emmanuel were all named to the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division I Men’s All-South Region team.

The teams will be recognized at the United Soccer Coaches All-America ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
