Eastern Florida State Softball Team Ranked No. 14 in NJCAA Division I National Poll

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College softball team is ranked in the NJCAA Division I National Poll for the second straight week.

The Titans are ranked 14th in the national poll after a 16-4 start to the season.

McLennan Community College remains No. 1 in the national poll with Northwest Florida State College is second and Florida Southwestern State College being No. 3.

Indian River State College is No. 4 in the national poll with Grayson College fifth.

Region 8 had eight teams in the top 20 as the College of Central Florida is eighth, Gulf Coast State College is No. 9, with Seminole State College is 13th and Chipola College is ranked 16th.

Eastern Florida State College will have a busy week as they will travel to Daytona State College on Tuesday for a doubleheader and then face No. 8 College of Central Florida on Thursday and will host No. 13 Seminole State College in a doubleheader on Saturday at Titan Softball Complex beginning at 1 p.m.
