Eastern Florida State Women’s Basketball Prepares for Conference Matchup Against Miami Dade

Titans are 3-0 in the conference this season

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team will be back at Titan Field House Saturday afternoon for a Citrus Conference game.

The No. 22 ranked Titans come into the matchup with Miami Dade College 3-0 in the conference at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Eastern Florida State College is tied for first place in the conference and has won the three conference games by an average of 35 points, scoring 90-plus points in all three games.

Miami Dade College is coming off its first conference win, defeating Santa Fe College 63-57 on Wednesday.

Titans sophomore Amelia Hassett is leading Region 8 in rebounding, averaging 14.4 per game this season and is fourth in the state in scoring, averaging 18.4 points per game.

Freshman Lynn Rieth is fourth in 3-point shooting percentage, making 42.9 percent of her shots and is averaging 15 points per game in the three conference games this season.

Miami Dade guard Shameir Quimby is third in the state in scoring this season, averaging 18.7 points per game and has averaged 21 points in the three conference games.

Teammate Jamicia Davis has averaged nine points and six rebounds in the three conference games.
