BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team placed 15th in the Flagler World Golf Invitational at Slammer and Squire course in St. Augustine.

The Titans shot rounds 314, 316, and 320 in tough, windy conditions against some of the top NCAA Division II teams in the country.

Lynn University won the event with Rollins College finishing second and Nova Southeastern was third in the tournament.

Eastern Florida State College’s Jenna Barnett and Gracie Doke tied for 54th in the tournament. Barnett shot 75, 78, and then 82 in the final round while Doke opened with an 81 and then shot a 1-under 71 in the second round before finishing with an 83.

Emma Parker had a strong finish for the Titans, shooting a 73 in the final round to tie for 60th overall. Brittany Odic tied for 74th overall.

Nova Southeastern’s Maia Samuelsson finished the tournament 1-over par to win the individual title. Flagler’s Stella Jelinek and Rollins’ Elizabeth Kondal tied for second at 2-over.

Eastern Florida State College will play at the Dalton State Kinderloo Invitational on Feb. 19-20.
