Eastern Florida State College women’s tennis player Elena Martinez Prado was named the Region VIII women’s Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday. Prado went 3-0 last week for the Titans, posting wins against Mount St. Mary’s, Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and St. Lawrence University. BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College women’s tennis player Elena Martinez Prado was named the Region VIII women’s Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Prado went 3-0 last week for the Titans, posting wins against Mount St. Mary’s, Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and St. Lawrence University. Prado won all three matches at No. 1 singles for Eastern Florida State College.

Prado is the first Player of the Week of the season for the Titans.

Eastern Florida State College will host St. Petersburg College on Thursday at Titan Tennis Center at 3 p.m. Then will play Eastern Nazarene College at home Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
