Eastern Florida State Women’s Volleyball Team Ranked No. 7 in National Poll, First Time in Program History

The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team is ranked in the top 10 of the latest NJCAA Division I poll for the first time in program history. The Titans, who are 7-0 on the season, are No. 7 in the national poll which was released on Monday. The volleyball team went 4-0 in the AWC Invitational, defeating Salt Lake Community College which is now 14th, and Eastern Arizona which is 13th in the new poll. (EFSC image)

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team is ranked in the top 10 of the latest NJCAA Division I poll for the first time in program history.

The Titans, who are 7-0 on the season, are No. 7 in the national poll which was released on Monday. The volleyball team went 4-0 in the AWC Invitational, defeating Salt Lake Community College which is now 14th, and Eastern Arizona which is 13th in the new poll.

Eastern Florida State College’s match on Tuesday against Florida State College at Jacksonville has been canceled due to Tropical Storm Idalia.

Florida Southwestern is still No. 1 with Miami Dade No. 2 and Trinity Valley is third. Region 8 for Daytona State College is ranked 15th in the poll.

The Titans will get a break before hosting Polk State College in the Citrus Conference opener on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m.
