(247SPORTS.COM) – The Oregon Ducks are alive and kicking in the 2025 class with the addition of offensive line prospect Chavez Thompson from Melbourne (Eau Gallie High School) on Friday afternoon. Thompson announced his commitment to the Ducks on social media.
Thompson becomes the second verbal commitment for the Ducks in 2025, joining four-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson of Tampa (Fla.).
The Ducks extended an offer on Feb. 28 to the 6-foot-1 and 270-pound lineman. Thompson picked the Ducks over offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Miami, Penn State and Florida State, among others.
