Red Wolves finished season with 14-3-2 record

The Edgewood Red Wolves girl’s soccer team fell to the Montverde Academy Eagles 1-0 in FHSAA State Championship on Saturday at Lame Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Edgewood Red Wolves girl’s soccer team fell to the Montverde Academy Eagles 1-0 in FHSAA State Championship on Saturday at Lame Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale.

The Edgewood Red Wolves concluded their season with a 14-3-2 overall record and FHSAA State Runner-Up.

How they got here:

■ The Red Wolves cruised past Cardinal Newman 4-1 in the regional quarterfinals

■ In the regional semifinals Edgewood defeated St. John Paul II Academy 4-1

■ The Red Wolves then clinched the State Semifinals berth by defeating Kings Academy 2-0.

■ Most recently Edgewood defeated NSU University High 2-1 to clinch a State Championship berth/
