BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Anand Balu Nellippallil, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering, received the prestigious 2023 Young Engineer Award presented by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ Computers and Information in Engineering Division.

The award, established in 2008, recognizes a promising investigator under age 40 who is making outstanding contributions to the progress in the application of computers in engineering.

Nellippallil’s selection was based on his achievements, testimonials from peers, and the promise of a significant impact on the discipline of computers and information in engineering in the future.
