Florida Tech Panthers Niall Harris Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE FLORIDA – Niall Harris of Florida Tech men’s basketball earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.

First-, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on April 16 (women) and April 17 (men).

Harris, a graduate student, is earning his master’s in aerospace engineering and is holding a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average. On the court, Harris averaged 12.1 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game, 3.6 assists per game and 2.0 steals per game.

The Leicester, England became just the 27th Panther in program history to total 1,000 points in his career after a 23-point performance on Senior Day against Tampa.
