BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Psychology professor Radhika Krishnamurthy and colleagues received the 2022 Martin Mayman Award for best theoretical paper published in the Journal of Personality Assessment in 2022 for their article, “Professional Practice Guidelines for Personality Assessment.”
Krishnamurthy was the lead author, and the article was co-authored by personality assessment researchers Giselle A. Hass, Adam P. Natoli, Bruce L. Smith, Paul A. Arbisi, and Emily D. Gottfried.
The award is bestowed annually by the Society for Personality Assessment for a distinguished contribution to the literature in personality assessment.
Eligible contributions may consist of an outstanding case study, qualitative research project, or theoretical development.
This award was bestowed at SPA’s annual convention in Austin, Texas in March.
At the convention, Krishnamurthy co-presented five research papers with clinical psychology doctoral students from Florida Tech who served as lead presenters: Rachel Davenport, Grant Decker, Emily Leonard, Katie Glauner, Karina Guerra Guzman, Ilenia Perez-Palen and John Rucker.
