Florida Tech Soccer Player Marem Ndiongue Earns First Team All-American Honors from the CCA

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech senior forward Marem Ndiongue earned First Team All-American honors from the D2 CCA as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

Communication professionals from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the three D2 CCA All-America teams. The process begins at the regional level with all first-team all-region picks advancing to the national ballot. A total of 40 student-athletes filled out the three teams.

This is the first All-American honor for Ndiongue in her career. Ndiongue continues to pile up the accolades after an incredible senior season.

The Catania, Italy native leads the nation in points per game (2.74), is third in goals per game (1.05), and fifth in assists per game (0.65). She is also second in the country in total points (52) and goals (20) and is tied for seventh in assists (12).

The senior has also earned her way into the Panther record books.

Ndiongue set single-season program records in points, goals, and assists. She is also second all-time in career points (83), third in career goals (31), and tops the leaderboard in career assists (21).

The Panthers are still in the hunt for a National Championship and will take on Point Loma in the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Final Four on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Opening kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Matthews Sportsplex in Matthews, N.C.
