Forbes Ranks Florida Tech’s Computer Information Systems Program Among Top 10 in the Nation

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The online business administration degree with a computer information systems concentration offered through Florida Tech’s Bisk College of Business was named a top national program in new rankings from Forbes.

Looking at programs in the information systems field, including both computer information systems and management information systems, the magazine evaluated the offerings of 35 U.S. universities.

It scored schools using 16 data points in the categories of credibility, affordability, student outcomes, student experience, and application process, such as student-to-faculty ratio, acceptance rate, median earnings after 10 years, and socioeconomic diversity.

The ten highest-scoring programs were compiled, and Florida Tech was among them. Its 82% overall student retention rate was the highest among the ranked schools.

Forbes also praised Florida Tech for using asynchronous delivery, which allows students to complete assignments on their own schedules.
