thrown for 7,923 yards and 67 touchdowns with just 18 interceptions
(ON3.COM) – Arkansas transfer quarterback KJ Jefferson took nearly a month to officially enter the transfer portal. The process of finding his next school went significantly faster. Jefferson has committed to UCF, heading to Orlando to play for Gus Malzahn.
With five years of experience with the Razorbacks, he’s one of the most established names at his position in the sport. He’s thrown for 7,923 yards and 67 touchdowns with just 18 interceptions.
The former four-star recruit in the class of 2019 has 39 career starts, touting a 20-19 overall record.
UCF has been aggressive in the quarterback market this portal cycle, hosting Coastal Carolina transfer Grayson McCall on an official visit in December. The three-time Sun Belt Player of the Year committed to NC State, however, leaving the Knights without a quarterback.
