(247SPORTS.COM) – Minnesota’s big football recruiting weekend was this past weekend and this weekend, as it’s PJ Fleck’s famed “Summer Splash” official visit weekend.

Now they just received a commitment to add to that top-15 recruiting class as Palm Bay (Fla.) Heritage defensive lineman Adam Kissayi just announced his commitment to the Golden Gophers.

The official visit list for Kissayi isn’t too crazy as he was just at Rutgers and he was going to see Nebraska next weekend. I’d say that the Gophers are the best on the field team of the three, but it was about the right “fit” for the Florida lineman.

“I really, truly believe that God has a plan for everybody. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I don’t have sex. I don’t do none of that,” Kissayi said.

“I’ve just been focusing on my goal with sports and following what God has planned and set out for me. I really believe that when I go to that place and it feels like that home, and it feels like that place, I know that’s God telling me, ‘This is where you need to be.'”
