Melbourne Bulldogs Softball Star Pitcher Jasmine ‘Jazzy’ Francik Commits to Play at Florida State University

Won Florida Gatorade Player of the Year IN 2022

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Bulldogs softball star pitcher Jasmine “Jazzy” Francik announced her commitment to play collegiate softball at Florida State University on Wednesday via social media.

The Class of 2024 pitcher has accumulated numerous individual awards including 2022 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year, 2022 Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Softball, 2022-23 Max Preps First Team All-American, and 2022 Max Preps National Player of the Year to name a few.

In her junior year, Francik led the state of Florida with eight no-hitters and was second in the country in strikeouts with 411.

The Melbourne Bulldog and Rockledge native is also a star in the classroom. She is an Honor AP Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society.
