BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne residents, businesses, and visitors can now download the new Melbourne Police Department app to keep in touch with the department.
The app will allow users to receive breaking news alerts, information about criminal activity, employment opportunities, community events, and more!
This app offers quick access to items of public interest and is easy to use. In just a few clicks, users can access features such as:

■ Contact Us

“Our goal is to engage with our residents and to keep our community informed,” said Melbourne Police Chief David Gillespie.
“With this new mobile app, our residents will now have important public safety information at their fingertips.”
The Melbourne Police Department is also developing a crime mapping function that allows users to see where and what crimes occur within the city. This feature will be available on the mobile app shortly.
The Melbourne Police Department app is free in the App Store by searching “Melbourne Police Department”.
