Melbourne Police Recognizes Michael Heller with Certificate of Commendation After Rescuing Burglary Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police Chief David Gillespie and Sgt. Sheridan Shelley recognized Michael Heller of Melbourne with a Certificate of Commendation.

Heller assisted the Melbourne Police Department in helping to rescue a burglary suspect who was suffering from hypothermia after hiding in the Eau Gallie River.

“Thank you for your service Michael,” said a Melbourne Police spokesperson.
