New Jersey Woman Arrested in Cocoa Beach for Passing Multiple Counterfeit $100 Bills Throughout Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police Department recently arrested Brenda Stefan Silvera Klembert, 33 of New Jersey for the charges of Uttering Forged Instruments and Theft.

The arrest was made after multiple counterfeit $100 bills were being passed at various locations throughout Brevard County.

Police say two establishments within Cocoa Beach notified law enforcement concerning the counterfeit bills.

During the investigation and subsequent arrest, additional victims were identified. It is believed that other businesses may have been targeted by these subjects.

The investigation is ongoing.
