BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Jill Ann Afonso of Palm Bay went home to be with the lord on May 10, 2023.
She was born in Orlando, Florida, and moved to Palm Bay in 1998.
Jill was a charge nurse at Inspiritas of West Melbourne.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents Joseph and Marian Grant, her brother Johnny Grant, and her grandson Robert Hagen.
She is survived by her husband Robert Afonso, her daughters Janna Roberts (Mike), Jamie Whitehead (James), her sons Jordan Hagen and Joey Afonso, her grandchildren Tyler Roberts, Gavin Mallory, and Kendall Whitehead and her brothers William Grant and Robert Grant.
Jill enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and was very proud of becoming a nurse. She had a special place in her heart for her patients and will be dearly missed, especially by her dog Dakota.
Viewing will be on Saturday, May 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a service at 4 p.m. at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Jill may be made to Florida Pointer Rescue, 1938 State Road 44, #40, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
