BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue A shift crew member responded to a report of a structure fire on Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m. in the southeast section of the city.

According to officials, first-due crews reported heavy smoke, pulled attack lines, and made a quick entry into the home.

“Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly and rescue two dogs that were still inside,” said a Palm Bay Fire Rescue member.

Besides the dogs, the home was empty at the time of the fire. No additional injuries were reported.
