Palm Bay Fire Rescue crews extinguished residential fire on Wednesday evening
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue A-Shift crews extinguished a residential fire on Wednesday evening around 7:30 p.m.
According to officials, units were dispatched to reports of fire coming from the roof of a home near Malabar Road and Jupiter Boulevard Northwest.
“When first-in crews arrived, they reported heavy fire and worked diligently to ensure no one was inside the home,” said a Palm Bay Fire Rescue spokesperson.
Several other units were called to the scene to assist with mitigating the incident. Because of this, the fire was under control in less than an hour.
According to a Palm Bay Fire Rescue spokesperson, three dogs were killed in the fire.
There were no human injuries reported, and the fire is still under investigation.
