Detective Hollcroft has been a law enforcement officer with Palm Bay Police for 9 years
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Police Department would like to recognize Detective Amanda Hollcroft for her nomination in this years, Women Who Rock Awards.
The Women Who Rock Awards were hosted on March 19th by the weVENTURE Women’s Business Center located in the Florida Tech Bisk College of Business.
weVenture is a non-profit organization that aims at empowering professional women and female entrepreneurs on the Space and Treasure Coasts.
Detective Hollcroft was nominated in the Excellence in Mentorship category for her outstanding work in law enforcement.
In her nine years as a law enforcement officer with Palm Bay Police, Detective Hollcroft has embodied the essence of mentorship. She has been assigned as a patrol officer, a Field Training Officer, a certified Drug Recognition Expert and, more currently, a dedicated member of the Special Victims Unit. In these various positions, Detective Hollcroft has exhibited unparalleled passion for fostering the growth and development of her mentees.
Furthermore, she goes above and beyond to ensure success, whether guiding new recruits through the complexities of being a new officer or providing invaluable support to children and adults of heinous crimes.
Her unwavering commitment to investigations and the people she provides support for instills a sense of confidence and purpose in everyone.
What sets Detective Hollcroft apart is her genuine desire to both teach and learn. She recognizes that growth is a continuous journey and encourages others to challenge themselves and embrace new learning opportunities through mentoring.
Aside from motivating others to achieve their full potential, Detective Hollcroft remains steadfast in her commitment to empowering those around her. She is a positive role model for her daughter, her colleagues, and the future women that come through the doors at Palm Bay Police Department.
