BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal single vehicle crash that happened on I-95 near mile marker 204 early Saturday morning.
Authorities identified the man killed in the crash as a 61-year-old man from White Haven, Pennsylvania.
A passenger inside the vehicle was also seriously injured and identified as 59-year-old woman from Colombia.
The investigation has revealed the driver was heading southbound on I-95 in a 2017 Chevy Silverado when he drove off the roadway around 1:12 a.m. and struck a tree line.
The driver was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
The passenger was taken to Holmes Regional with serious injuries,
