Prep Wrestlers Who Medaled, Won State Championships Honored By Brevard Public Schools Officials

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools officials recently recognized prep wrestlers who medaled during the state tournament, including two who won a state championship – Solomon Peterson of Heritage High School and Kaleb Ivie of Merritt Island High School.

The wrestlers, their coaches, and their families were honored during the March 19 school board meeting.

Below are the wrestlers who medaled in their weight class:

Astronaut High School

Preston Pineiro – 7th in state

Cocoa High School

Cole Webb – 7th in state

Cocoa Beach High School:

Adrian Day – 5th in state

Billy Day 7th in state

Madden Fredenburg – 3rd in state

Heritage High School:

■ Solomon Peterson – STATE CHAMPION

■ Gustavo Ferreira – 7th state

■ Keith Cole – 5th in state

■ Kaleb Gabrielsen – 3rd in state

■ Harper Noel – 5th in state

■ Kaleb Ivie – STATE CHAMPION

■ Tre Driggett – 8th in state

■ Landon Quiroga – 6th in state

Palm Bay Magnet High:

■ Chris Brunson – 4th in state

■ Leonard Christian – 4th in state

■ Raymen Jackson – 8th in state

■ Octavion Osby – 3rd in state

Satellite High:

■ Ryan Beirne – 3rd in state

■ Anthony Dicks – 4th in state

■ Jake Giovino – 2nd in state

Titusville High:

■ Christopher Bryant – 7th in state

Viera High:

■ Alex Giglietti – 5th in state

■ Emma Hoppe – 2nd in state

■ Catalina Kenney – 5th in state

■ Brian Mitchell – 6th in state

■ Edwin Torres – 8th in state
