Rockledge Host Indian River City in Florida District 22 Little League All-Star Tournament Action

LITTLE LEAGUE ACTION: THE FRIDAY NIGHT LOCKER ROOM ON SPACE COAST DAILY TV

The Florida District 22 Little League All-Star Tournament continued at Port St. John’s fields in Space Coast Communities Sports Complex of Canaveral Groves the 8-10 Baseball division.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Florida District 22 Little League All-Star Tournament continued at Port St. John’s fields in Space Coast Communities Sports Complex of Canaveral Groves the 8-10 Baseball division.

The Indian River City LL and home Rockledge LL had a delayed start due to rain.

District 22 and Port St. John LL would like to thank all the volunteers who pitched in and worked so hard to get the flooded field ready.

Once the game got underway, Rockledge’s lead-off hitter, Henrick Sanford reached base on a walk but was thrown out at 2nd with a Fielder’s Choice for the second batter, Jake Spineweber.

Spineweber reached 2nd when Ryan Michaels was walked and the bases were loaded when Rockledge’s clean-up hitter, Carter Skradski-Dreher reached 1st on an error to Short. But, all runners were stranded.

For Indian River City, Drake Dehler, Easton Edwards, Ashton Perucca, Colton Hill, and Waylon Schell scored 3 runs each. While on tn the mound, Drake Dehler and Logan Dino combined for IRC’s 23-0 win in 3 innings.

Thursday will see Merritt Island meet Space Coast, and Rockledge will meet Port St. John as the 8-10 baseball tournament continues.
