Rockledge Police, Homeland Security Agents Team Up to Take Down Large-Scale Active Drug Factory

Agents of the Rockledge Police Department and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security culminated an investigation into a major drug trafficking organization operating in the City of Rockledge. On last Tuesday, August 8, officers and agents executed a search warrant at 953 Bayward Lane and located a large-scale active drug factory. BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Agents of the Rockledge Police Department and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security culminated an investigation into a major drug trafficking organization operating in the City of Rockledge.

On last Tuesday, August 8, officers and agents executed a search warrant at 953 Bayward Lane and located a large-scale active drug factory.

“Seized from the residence was 4 kilograms of Ecstasy, a substantial amount of heroin, Percocet pills and three handguns, one of which was reported stolen out of Brevard County,” said Deputy Rockledge Police Chief Donna Seyferth.

Seyferth said the defendants in this case include Maurice Wright, 38, Simone Mcintosh, 33, both of Rockledge. They are charged with one count of possession and trafficking MDMA (Ecstasy.)

This is a developing story and more charges are expected to be filed on both suspects.
