BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Satellite High School student Sophia Bailey has been selected as the Brevard CTE U.S. Presidential Scholar.

Each year, school districts select one CTE U.S. Presidential Scholar, with up to 161 students earning this prestigious honor, one of the nation’s highest for high school students.

The CTE component of the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program recognizes students who demonstrate ability and accomplishment in career and technical education fields.

After graduation, Sophia plans to pursue a career in the film and video industry.
