Seaside Stride Beach Trek To End Human Trafficking Set Saturday Morning From Fishlips at Port Canaveral

The Final event in the Outdoors for Freedom series will be Saturday morning, with an 8 a.m. start, and consist of a 10 or 20 mile out-and-back beach trek starting and returning from Fish Lips Bar & Grille at Port Canaveral.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Final event in the Outdoors for Freedom series will be Saturday morning, with an 8 a.m. start, and consist of a 10 or 20 mile out-and-back beach trek starting and returning from Fish Lips Bar & Grille at Port Canaveral.

Proceeds from this event benefit the prevention, identification, rehabilitation support for survivors of those who have been sexually exploited.

This is not a race, but a community event to gather outdoor enthusiasts together to help bring awareness and fundraise together to end the sexual exploitation of others.

This is the inaugural Seaside Stride beach trek, and third and final event of the Get Outdoors for Freedom Spring & Summer Series.

The Seaside Stride will consist of two options, a 10 mile or 20 mile beach trek (walk). This is an out and back trek starting and returning to Fish Lips Waterfront Grill. It’s a beautiful tide day but options to break away to the sidewalk are along the way.

The Final event in the Outdoors for Freedom series will be Saturday morning, with an 8 a.m. start, and consist of a 10 or 20 mile out-and-back beach trek starting and returning from Fish Lips Bar & Grille at Port Canaveral.

Participants should physically prepare, train and previously completed a similar distance before trek day.

While not required, we encourage individual fundraising and sharing physical training progress leading up to this adventure. The main goal of this event is to bring awareness to the tragedy of human trafficking and what better way than to invite personal friends and family into the journey.

Participants are responsible for providing personal snacks and drinks during the trek. Included in registration is post-trek celebration food and beverages to enjoy and an event t-shirt.
