BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – United States Senator Rick Scott celebrates the U.S. Space Force’s fourth birthday. Senator Scott released the following statement.
Please join me in wishing the United States Space Force a happy 4th birthday! Florida is proud to be home to Patrick Space Force Base and play a critical role in the Space Force’s mission of securing our nation’s interests in, from, and to space.
As a Navy veteran myself, I know firsthand the sacrifices our men and women in uniform make every day to defend our freedom. Our nation’s veterans and service members truly represent the best of what it means to be an American and a Floridian. None of the opportunities and freedoms we have would be possible without the dedicated service of our brave heroes.
As your United States Senator and a member of the U.S. Senate Armed Service Committee, I am working every day to keep Florida the most military and veteran-friendly state in the nation.
I will always do everything I can to support our military members, veterans, and their families so they can succeed and pursue their American dream.
