Justen Strausbach charged with Trafficking In Fentanyl and Possession of Meth
SHERIFF IVEY: IT USED TO BE “THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON DRUGS” BUT SOMEHOW “THIS IS YOUR HAIR ON FENTANYL” SEEMS TO BE EVEN MORE SCARY!
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Years ago, a lot of “Don’t Do Drugs” campaigns included “This Is You Brain On Drugs” which carried a strong message about the damage drug abuse can cause in a person.
While that message is still relevant today, Deputies from our North Precinct may have just stumbled onto a new form of messaging themselves, when they arrested Justen Strausbach for Trafficking In Fentanyl and Possession of Meth.
“This Is Your Hair On Fentanyl” might just be the wake-up call we needed for those who are thinking about doing drugs as no one in their right mind would want to go to jail with what we are now calling, “The Fentanyl Do!”
While its impossible to say exactly when Strausbach’s bad hair days began, I can tell you that his trouble with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office started after citizens reported that he and an associate were going door to door in the area of Windover Way and Gator Trail, soliciting work and snooping around on people’s property.
Once Deputies arrived on-scene, they observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle the duo were riding in and let’s just say things went downhill from there for Strausbach.
Strausbach was subsequently found to be in possession of 2.4 grams of Methamphetamine along with 11.2 grams of Fentanyl.
Strausbach was given a free ride to “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” where his accommodations were held on a “No Bond” status for Trafficking In Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Once Strausbach was through speaking with our Lodge Reservation Specialist or Booking Desk as some like to call them, he was provided a brochure about the many spa amenities we have at the lodge, including top rated hair stylist in the world famous “Hair Today Die Tomorrow” Salon.
Remember kids…This Is Your Hair On Fentanyl so don’t do drugs!
