BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The September MOAACC luncheon guest speaker was LaTonya Daniel, the Executive Director of the Space Coast American Red Cross.

Daniel began her career with the Red Cross in 2020, as a Community Volunteer Leader with the Greater Orlando Chapter. In her current role, she is responsible for Central Florida and the US Virgin Islands, serving 19 Florida counties through five chapters.

She holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and an MBA from Argosy University. In addition to her Red Cross work, she volunteers her time with other non-profit human and social services.

LaTonya explained, with the aid of a slide presentation, the mission of the Red Cross, especially the importance of volunteers and the generosity of donors. She was joined by Adrienne Bolton, Service to the Armed Forces Manager, who is based in Orlando.

Bolton described the various services that the Red Cross provides to current members of the military and veterans.
