BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Supervisor of Elections offices partnered with Supply Zone for Teachers to serve as drop-off locations for back-to-school donations during July.

The school supplies, which will benefit disadvantaged students in Brevard public schools, are collected for Supply Zone for Teachers, a service of Brevard Schools Foundation.

“It is incredibly fulfilling to know my team plays a part in helping students in need receive the necessary school supplies, so they can have the confidence to be successful in school,” said Supervisor Tim Bobanic.

At the 21st Annual Back-to-School Blast-Off, Brevard Schools Foundation plans to provide approximately 2,500 new backpacks filled with school supplies to children enrolled in Brevard Public Schools who have been recipients of the Free or Reduced Lunch Program.

When children and their parents arrive at the event, students will also be given hot lunches, books, hygiene supplies, and other necessities.
