The Viera Company’s Todd Pokrywa Supports Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Weekend in Toronto

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Todd Pokrywa, the philanthropic president of The Viera Company in Brevard County on Florida’s Space Coast, was part of the festivities and action at the Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Weekend in Toronto, Canada, which brought together many legends of the game.

“I had an amazing time as a guest player on Team Nieuwendyk, skating to a 4-3 shootout victory against Team Oates in the 2023 Hyundai HHOF Legends Classic on November 12, 2023 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto,” said Pokrywa.

“I had the honor of being a guest player while my wife Cyndi was a guest coach as a result of our continued support of the HHOF. It was also great to catch up with Team Viera Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer teammate David Arrigo at the Induction Gala while he was painting live art featuring Inductee Henrik Lundqvist as part of the silent auction.”

Pokrywa extended a huge congratulations to the newest HHOF honored members, and a big thank you to the HHOF staff, especially Kevin Shea, Jacqueline Schwartz, Anthony Sorrentino, Maria Tassone, and Peter Jagla, family and friends that made the trip, and his fantastic and welcoming Legends Classic teammates for an unforgettable experience.

The newest honored members of the HHOF include Pierre Turgeon, Henrik Lundqvist, Mike Vernon, Tom Barrasso, Caroline Ouellette, Ken Hitchcock and Pierre Lacroix.

Proceeds from Induction Weekend help support the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The Hockey Hall of Fame was established in 1943 to honor and memorialize individuals who have brought special distinction to the game of hockey and those who made outstanding contributions to the development and advancement of hockey anywhere in the world, and to collect, research, preserve, exhibit and promote objects, images and other historical materials connected with the game at all levels.

As a not-for-profit corporation and registered charity, the Hockey Hall of Fame owns and operates a museum and place of entertainment offering state-of-the-art exhibits, theatrical presentations and educational programming from its premises at Brookfield Place, Toronto, and a multi-purpose archive, resource center and research facility located at 400 Kipling Avenue, Toronto.
