U.S. Air Force Approves Florida’s Space Coast as Location for Space Delta 10

The U.S. Air Force has approved Florida’s Space Coast as its location for Space Delta 10.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The U.S. Air Force has approved Florida’s Space Coast as its location for Space Delta 10.

Congressman Bill Posey has been working with Florida Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio, along with the Florida Delegation, to bring this unit to Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

“Florida’s booming Space Coast is the world’s premiere spaceport and the perfect location for the Space Delta 10 unit,” said Congressman Posey. “We are honored to be selected as the location for this important military unit.”

The Space Delta 10 Unit is part of the Space Force’s STARCOM, the Space Training and Readiness Command, which exists to develop space warfighting doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures that will prepare combat-ready U.S. Space Force Guardians to fight and win in difficult and challenging environments.
