BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan will appear during an event for Congressman Bill Posey on Sunday, March 24, at the Boniface-Hiers Chevrolet Showroom, located at 800 S. Harbor City Blvd. in Melbourne.

Posey represents Florida’s 8th Congressional District which encompasses all of Brevard County and Indian River County, and a small portion of Orange County, including Bithlo, Christmas and Wedgefield. Posey was elected to U.S. House of Representatives in 2008 and is currently serving his seventh term.

Jordan, a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Ohio, is widely seen as one of the legislative body’s most conservative members. He was first elected to Congress in 2006 and was instrumental in the founding of the House Freedom Caucus in 2015, becoming the first chair of the group of ultra-conservative House members. Jordan, a close ally of former President Donald Trump, sought to be elected speaker of the House in October 2023 after Kevin McCarthy’s ouster from that role.

The doors open for the event at 6 p.m. and tickets are $50 per person. All pre-registered guests can attend this event, and tickets are limited and registration is required.
