UPDATE: Man Identified After Crash While Test Driving Harley-Davidson Motorcycle in Titusville

Titusville Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happed on Monday near 2400 block of South Hopkins Avenue (US-1).

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Titusville Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened on Monday near 2400 block of South Hopkins Avenue (US-1).

The preliminary investigation revealed Richard J. Peach, 68, of Cocoa, was test-driving a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle within the confines of the Titus Landing parking area, lost control, and crashed into the rear exterior wall of an unoccupied shopping venue around 4:15 p.m.

Peach was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries at around 4:40 p.m.

There were no other injuries or vehicles involved in the traffic crash.

This traffic crash remains under investigation
