BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard Humane Society is holding its 18th annual Mardi Gras Paws in the Park on February 25.

The event is set from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Riverside Park at 401 Riveredge Boulevard, in Historic Cocoa Village.

Dress your pet in their Mardi Gras finest for our costume parade and see who will be crowned this year’s king and queen. Tackle the canine lure course and check out our vendors and silent auction.

Fun for the whole family with live music, pet contests, vendors, food trucks, and admission is FREE.

Founded in 1952 and celebrating over 70 years of serving the homeless animals in our community, the Brevard Humane Society is the oldest established animal welfare organization in Brevard County.

The Brevard Humane Society is dedicated to speaking for those who can’t speak for themselves and is a “no kill for space” shelter that works tirelessly to educate the community on responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of animals.

They advocate spaying or neutering animals to reduce the homeless pet population and provide a sanctuary for animals with the best quality care until they are placed in “forever homes.”
