BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Junny and I would like to personally thank all of our BCSO “Team Pink Support Squad” members who participated in today’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk” that was held at the Avenue in Viera.
This year’s event was attended by hundreds of citizens, businesses, and Breast Cancer Survivors who are all working together to stop Breast Cancer.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a celebration of survivorship, an occasion to express hope, and a demonstration of determination to make this century, Breast Cancer’s last century. As I always say “it takes a community to protect a community” and together we can make a difference.
Junny and I were honored this year to join the walk and to also be a part of such a great cause.
I would like to personally thank everyone in our community who came out to support today’s event, our agency members who worked hard to help raise donations for Breast Cancer Awareness, the American Cancer Society for hosting the event, the Avenue in Viera for providing the venue, and of course, the many volunteers who made today’s walk such a tremendous success.
